I’m Anna Davenport—founder of Silver Nutshell Jewellery and Silver Metal Clay Courses and I'm obsessed with turning "magical" silver metal clay into fine silver jewellery. If you want to make jewellery using silver metal clay - you're in the right place!
My Creative Legacy
My passion for making comes from my Mum, Doris, and my creative energy from my Hungarian father. They taught me that life is better when you put people first. They both volunteered at different times throughout their lives, and were always generous with their time and talents. I'm like my Mum and want to reconnect you with the creative joy we often leave behind in childhood. Remember when you were a child and you'd pick up some crayons and draw freely? That creative freedom is still there, and it's in all of us. If you've ever dreamed of making your own jewellery, I can help you reignite it—providing an "escape from the screen" that is so much better for our mental health, our wellbeing and let's face it - will make us happier.

Why I Teach Silver Metal Clay Courses
I often refer to myself as a 'Builder of Stuff' because it describes what I do. I used to build brands and as Editor and Publisher in Bristol, I helped launch many of the best selling British Craft Brands. Building my own brand, Silvernutshell, was the logical next step. I wanted to build something for myself, and that's how I got to be the sole owner of a business that I love. Since I launched Silver Nutshell Jewellery back in 2019, I have taught myself to build websites, attract strong communities and film high-quality videos, all for the sole purpose of sharing what I've learnt with you.
